Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/7/2023 from 9:45 am to 11:30 am There were 24 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 8 direct care staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed napping. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Please submit your plan of correction within 5 business days for it to be included on the website.

Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, insecticides, and pesticides were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
1. In the combined caterpillars and butterflies classroom, two bleach spray bottles labeled strong and mild, as well as Windex, were kept in an unlocked cabinet.

2. In the combined caterpillars and butterflies classroom, a bottle of cleaning solution was kept in an unlocked cabinet under the bathroom sink.
