Inspector Notes

An announced initial inspection was conducted with the director on January 24, 2022 beginning at 11:43 AM and ending at 2:50PM. There were eighty-three children, ages 6 months through 6 years old, were in the care of twenty-six staff. The children were observed eating lunch and preparing for nap time. Infants were observed doing tummy time and playing with soft toys. Six children's records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Twenty-six staff records were reviewed. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as January 17, 2022. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as May 25, 2021. The most recent health inspection was dated July 31, 2021. The most recent fire inspection was dated June 2, 2021.

Based on a review of 26 staff records, it was determined that not all staff records contained a central registry finding. Evidence: Staff A (hired 9/29/21), staff B (hired 8/20/20), staff C (hired 8/2/17), staff D (hired 11/8/21), and staff E (hired 2/2/21) did not have central registry findings in their records.
Plan of Correction: The facility sent the request for the central registry finding but the results have not been received. The facility will continue to follow up regarding the status of the search. The facility will send the licensing inspector a copy of the central registry finding once received from the Office of Background Investigation.
