Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on September 21, 2023, from 10:20am-12:15pm. At the time of entrance, 63 children were in care with 11 staff members present. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records. Children were observed washing hands, eating snack and interacting with teachers. A group of students were observed in their art class talking about dot art and the different sizes different tools make. One classroom was observed eating snack which they made the day before. The snack the class made was lemonade and fruit popsicles. Children were talking about the different textures of fruit and how they made the popsicles with their teacher. Toddlers were observed playing freely outside and chasing bubbles. Medication on site were inspected for compliance. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice.

2Evidence: Staff 1 was promoted to lead teacher on 8/15/2023 but did not complete 24 hours of training prior to being promoted to meet the requirement of the standard.
Evidence: The Otters classroom does not have a qualified lead teacher in the classroom.
