Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 5/2/2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:00 AM and ended at 12:15 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 8 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 19. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 3 caregiver/household members records. This inspection included document review, a tour of the family day home, interviews and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Furnishings of the family day home shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operation condition.

There was a broken ride on toy observed in the providers backyard. The long plastic body of a worm ride-on toy was split in half and posed as a hazard.

The family day home may administer prescription medication that would normally be administered by a parent or guardian to a child provided that the medication is in labeled and in the original container.

Emergency medication for child #2 was observed stored in a zip lock bag. The medication was not in the original container and did not contain a prescription labeled identifying that the medication was prescribed to the child.
