Inspector Notes

An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today between 11:50am-12:35pm. There were 8 children present with the Provider and 2 assistant sfor a total of 24 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with toys and taking a nap. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, evacuation drill log, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation. Based on observation, a working portable battery-operated weather band radio, and extra batteries were not available to caregivers at all times.

Evidence:
1. The portable battery-operated weather band radio was not working and there were no extra batteries available at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: I will buy new batteries today.
