Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 12/2/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:45am and ended at 11:45am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 7 children present and 3 caregivers; the point total was 19. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 6 caregiver/household members records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Standard 8VAC20-800-540-A
Infant high chairs shall be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and when occupied by a child, a safety strap shall be used and securely fastened.

An infant was observed in a high chair during the time of the inspection and the safety strap was not securely fastened.
Plan of Correction: The safety buckle was fastened during the inspection. We will make sure we always fasten the safety buckle.
