Inspector Notes
An announced initial inspection was conducted on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from approximately 10:00am until 11:20am to determine compliance with family day home standards. The provider was assisted with the onsite inspection. There were three children present, ranging in ages from two to three years, with one staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. One staff record was reviewed.
The provider has submitted all of the required application materials at this time. Though, some standards of care could not be determined during the initial study, the provider is in substantial compliance with the standards that could be determined. A recommendation for a six-month conditional license will be made at this time. During the conditional period, the provider will be subject to unannounced licensing inspections, with the first inspection taking place within the first sixty days of licensure. Please contact Lynn Powers at (804) 840-8260 if you have any questions regarding this inspection.
