Unannounced inspections were conducted on 7/5/23 & 7/6/23 based on information reported to the licensing office by the facility concerning
care of the children.
Based on information reported during interviews, there is evidence to support the allegation. A violation notice will be issued.

Based on interviews and documentation, the
facility failed to ensure that staff do not use
physical punishment.
Evidence:
On Monday 6/12/23 (time unknown), staff # 1
?popped? child #1 on the bottom in response to
child #1 throwing things and running around
the room. Three staff reported that child #1
who wears a diaper, did not react, and kept
running.

Plan of Correction: 1. Training on proper discipline was
provided to all staff in July 2023.

by United Way representatives for
Infants and Toddler Specialists as well
as coaching for the 3-5 age group
teachers and will be ongoing.
