During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.
Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site code compliance inspection was initiated on 11/08/2024 and completed on 11/08/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:10 AM and ended at 12:00 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were six children present with one staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and four staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

The center must develop and implement a procedure to ensure that all staff are able to recognize the signs of child abuse and neglect.
Staff #4 was employed for five months before receiving training recognizing signs of child abuse and neglect.
Plan of Correction: In the future all new hires will be required to complete training in recognizing child abuse and neglect prior to entering a classroom.

The center is required to obtain a completed sworn statement prior to the employee's first day of employment. Staff #2, who had been employed for fourteen months, did not have a sworn statement.
Plan of Correction: In the future sworn statements will be required for all new hires upon hire and will become a part of staff records.

The center must request a search of the central registry prior to the employee's first day of employment. Staff #2, who had been employed for fourteen months, did not have a central registry search.
Plan of Correction: The central registry background check was processed on 11/11/2024 for staff #2. In the future the administration will ensure all background checks are processed upon hire.
