Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:15 to 11:05. The provider was present with 3 children in care.
The children were playing with toys and interacting with the provider.
Discussed curriculum and plans for training.
Reviewed provider and 4 children's paperwork.
Lots of toys to play with and space inside and out to explore. A violation notice was given to the provider along with this inspection summary.

Based on the review of the providers posted information, the provider failed to post some of the required paperwork.
Evidence: The provider failed to post the most recent licensing paperwork.
Plan of Correction: I will post the paperwork from today and when I receive the paperwork by email I will print and post that
Standard 8VAC20-800-100-A
Based on the review of children's records, the provider failed to get physicals for the children in care.
Evidence: Based on the review of 4 children's files, the provider failed to get physicals for the children in care.
Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents for the physicals again. Some sent me the link for their patient portal but I can not access the documents.
Standard 8VAC20-800-280
Based on the physical plant review the provider failed to keep cleaners inaccessible to the children.
Evidence: During the inspection the following cleaners were observed accessible to the children, laundry detergent at the bottom of the stairs in the basement.. Cleaning wipes on the back of the toilet and cleaning spray on the bathroom sink.
Plan of Correction: I will remove.
