Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A initial inspection was initiated on 12/10/21 and concluded on 12/29/21. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 19 children present, ranging in ages from three to five, with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and two staff records were reviewed.
You reported that the playground will not be used by children in the license program until it meets the licensing standards.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a virtual tour of the RCD classrooms, the facility failed to insure that all cleaning products are kept in a locked area.
Evidence:
1. There are cleaning products stored in an unlocked closet in the classroom, under the sink the children's bathroom and in the hallway outside the cafe.
Plan of Correction: The program director reported that all cleaning products are now kept in a locked area.
