Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today at 10:38am. There were 4 children directly supervised by the provider. The home, 3 children?s records, medications, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing freely and arriving for care. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, child-resistant protective covers larger than 1-1/4 inches in diameter were not installed on all unused electrical outlets and surge protectors accessible to children under five years of age.
Evidence:
One outlet in the child care area was observed without a cover.
Plan of Correction: The cover was next to the outlet and immediately reinstalled.
