Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 1/18/23 and concluded on 1/18/23. There were 11 children present, ranging in ages from 6 months to 2 years, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on observation, the provider failed to change a child's diaper on a surface that was nonabsorbent and washable.

Evidence:

The provider was observed changing a child's diaper in the crib on a blanket.
Plan of Correction: From now on diapers will always be changed on the nonabsorbent pad.
