A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 1/18/23 and concluded on 1/18/23. There were 11 children present with 2 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on record review and interview, the provider failed to ensure the daily attendance log was documented as children arrived.
Evidence:
1. The attendance log was reviewed at approximately 11:30 when children were down for nap. Eleven children were in care. Only eight children were on the attendance log. No additional children had arrived since the inspection started at 11:10.
2. The provider verified the names were missing from the attendance sheet.

Plan of Correction: The provider added the additional names to the attendance sheet. In the future names will be added to the attendance sheet as they arrive.
