Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/25/2024. There were 31 children, ages 5-11 years, 4 staff and 1 administrative staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 children?s records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed during arrival and snack time. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 2:40pm and departed the center at 4:30pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that staff shall sit with children during meal times.

Evidence: Licensing staff observed four staff standing while children were seated at tables eating during snack time.
Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure staff are seated with children during meal times.
