Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 6/15/2022 from 10:15am-11:45am. There were 12 children (29 points) 1 resident child and supervised by 3 direct caregivers. The home, 1 staff records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed engaging freely, singing, playing in organized group activities, and eating lunch. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. 3Evidence:
Staff #3 record is missing documentation that two or more references as to character and reputation as well as competency were checked before employment. Employment date of staff #3 was 6/6/2022.
Evidence:
The records of child # 1 and child # 3 were missing the medical insurance policy number.
Evidence:
1. 1 of 2 topical skin products were not labeled with the child's name.
2. 2 of 2 did not have written authorizations for use of topical skin products.
2. Written authorizations will be taken from parents moving forward.
