Inspector Notes

An onsite code compliance inspection was conducted October 17, 2023. The inspection was initiated at approximately 9:45 AM and concluded at approximately 11:30 AM. There were 31 children present, ranging from two to five years of age, with five staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and medication. A total of five children's records and five staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center failed to implement established procedures that ensured all areas of the premises accessible to children were free of obvious injury hazards.
Evidence:
Several areas of exposed landscaping fabric had worked its way to the playground surface. The exposed fabric created a tripping hazard.
Plan of Correction: We will remove the fabric and add additional mulch.
