Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/16/2023 from 1:20pm to 2:30pm with the provider. There were three children in care, ranging in age from 14-months to four-years-old, for a total of eight points. Children were observed napping and having free play. Three child records, the provider record, and five household member records were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider does not give medication and understands that they must obtain certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) in order to give medication in the future. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
