Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was completed on June 13, 2023 from approximately 10:55 am to 2:30 pm. There were 109 children present with 19 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review and interview, facility did not ensure staff have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 90 days of employment.

Evidence: The records for staff #8 (reported start date 3/6/2023) and staff #10 (reported start date 3/2/2023) did not have current CPR. Program Director stated they that are not currently certified and are scheduled to have the training completed.
