Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 7, 2024, from 9:32 a.m. to 10:49a.m. with the provider and assistant. There were four children and one residential child, ages 20 months.,2. 3, 4, and 4 years old, were in the care of two caregivers for a total of 11 points. The children were observed watching an education program while playing with age-appropriate toys. One child was observed doing educational work. Three children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider, staff, and one household member?s records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. The provider and assistant have current certification in CPR and First Aid. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent practice emergency escape drill was documented as 1/3/2024. The most recent practice shelter-in-placed drill was documented as

Based on observation, not all of he bottles were labeled with the child's full name and the date. Evidence: There were two bottles that were not labeled with a child's name and the date on a small table in the basement daycare area.
Plan of Correction: Moving forward the provider and assistant will ensure that the bottles are labeled with the child's name and date.
