Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 8/21/2023 at 12pm. There were 5 children (14 points) directly supervised by 2 caregiver(s) The home, 2 caregiver records, children's records, household member's records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely inside the play room, and preparing for nap. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Violations
3Evidence: reviewed the provider's records and found that they only had documentation of 5 clock hours of annual ongoing training.
Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that electrical outlets, accessible to children under 5 years of age, had a child-resistant protective cover.
Evidence: observed 2 uncovered electrical outlets accessible to children on a surge protector on top of a child-size bookshelf.
Evidence: identified through the provider that they did not obtain an annual inspection of the wood burning fireplace.
