Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 7/24/24. The on-site inspection began at 4pm and ended at 4:50pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 5 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 10 points. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 4 staff/household member's records on -site. This inspection included document review , tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-60-B
A child's record shall contain documentation of the review of the child's emergency contact information annually, to include a signed parental acknowledgment of the review and emergency contact information upon enrollment.

1. Child A's last review was conducted 1 year and 4 months ago, child B's last review was conducted 2 years and 4 months ago and child C's review was conducted 1 year and 11 months ago.
2. There was no emergency contact information on file for child D and E, both have been enrolled for 1 month.
Plan of Correction: I will obtain the emergency contact information and have parents document that their emergency contacts are up-to-date.
