8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

Inspector Notes

An announced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted with the vendor on January 24, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 11:03 a.m. There were three children, ages 6 months, 12 months, and 4 years old for a total of 10 points. The children were observed playing with age appropriate toys and interacting with the caregiver. Three children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. The vendor and one household member?s records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider does administer medication as she has current Medication Administration Training (MAT) certification. The first aid kit, flashlight, battery-operated radio, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were observed and in compliance. There were no medications on sight and allergy care plans to be reviewed.
