Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted on May 2, 2024. Upon arrival at 1:05 PM there were a total of 13 children under the care of 2 staff present. An additional child and staff arrived during the inspection; 14 children total under the care of 3 staff. The Licensing Inspector reviewed 14 children?s records and 2 household/staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on inspection, the Licensee failed to ensure that the total number of children receiving care at any one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity of the home.

EVIDENCE:
There were 14 children ages 11 months - 9 years old in care during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: Provider will discontinue/terminate day care service to reduce total number of children in care.
