Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 11:25am. Observed 1 child = 3 points with the Provider. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. The child was observed eating lunch and playing with toys. Lunch served included chicken, rice, carrots, and milk. The provider reported the child was served banana before the main lunch. The daycare was sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Areas of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed were found. Based on observations made, it was determined that required supplies were not in the bathroom. Evidence: There were no paper towels in the bathroom.
Plan of Correction: The provider put paper towels in the bathroom during the inspection.
Standard 8VAC20-800-800-B
Based on records reviewed, it was determined that the emergency plan was not reviewed annually. Evidence: The last documentation by the provider indicating the plan was reviewed was 3/1/22.
Plan of Correction: After the inspection, the provider sent the inspector documentation that she had reviewed the emergency plan.
