Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-500-B
Based on observation of classrooms 1,2,3,4 and 5,the receptacle used to dispose of diapers was not foot-operated or could be used in such a way that neither the staff member's hand nor the soiled diaper touches an exterior surface of the storage system during disposal.
Evidence:
The receptacles intended for soiled diapers requires both a staff member's hand or the potential for soiled diapers to touch the exterior surface.
Plan of Correction: A hands free receptacle will be purchased for each classroom that diapering occurs.
