Inspector Notes

An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 5/13/2024 beginning at 12:15pm and ending at 1:15pm. There were 2 children in attendance at the time of the inspection. Required background searches, training certificates and household member information was reviewed. A sample of requirements for daily attendance, child information/records, emergency preparedness planning and supplies were also reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor. Based on observation, and confirmed by vendor, the vendor did not maintain written hard copy records of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs.

Evidence: The vendor said they were tracking attendance electronically only.
Plan of Correction: The vendor began keeping written attendance during the inspection.

Based on review of emergency response drills, evacuation procedures were not practiced at least monthly.

Evidence: There had not been an evacuation drill for April 2024.
