Inspector Notes

An in-person renewal inspection was conducted on January 13, 2023 from 10:30am until 11:30am. There were 5 children in care (13 points) with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed playing freely, reading books, and playing with blocks. A total of 4 child records and 1 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the provider did not obtain documentation of a physical examination within 30 days after the first day of attendance.

Evidence: Child 1, 2, and 3 did not have documentation of a physical examination within 30 days after the first day of attendance.

Based on record review, the provider did not ensure all all required information was in the child's file.

Based on record review, the provider did not ensure all parents had the required information in writing before the child's first day of attendance.
