During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 03/04/2026, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:10 AM and ended at 11:55 AM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 59 children present and 11 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site.
This inspection included:

? tour of the facility,
? interviews, and
? observations.

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI, and this single inspection report reflects findings related to licensing standards and subsidy standards.

Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-500-B
The diapering area shall have a nonabsorbent surface for diapering.
The diaper pad on the changing table in the toddler classroom is torn so cannot be adequately cleaned and sanitized.
Plan of Correction: Facility response:
A new changing pad was immediately ordered. Staff will be reminded to let administrators know when a changing pad is tearing so a new pad can be purchased.

Shelter in place procedures shall be practiced a minimum of twice per year.
There was only one shelter-in-place drill documented for 2025 to date of inspection.

At least two shelter-in-place drills will be conducted and documented annually.
