Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on May 15, 2024 from 12:30 P.M.-1:30 P.M. There were no children present during the inspection due to the summer program has not begun yet. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staff qualification and training, special care and emergencies and nutrition, special services, and background checks. Three applicant background checks and one staff record were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of applicant background checks, the center failed to ensure that all required background checks were updated every five years.

Evidence:
1. Applicant #1's fingerprints on file were dated 02/06/2018.
2. Administration verified the date on the fingerprints, and that they could not locate the updated copy.
Plan of Correction: The applicant made an appointment to obtain updated fingerprints. The results were sent to the Licensing Inspector.
