Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site code compliance inspection was initiated and completed on 3/10/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:00am and ended at 12:30pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 133 children present with 20 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 54staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable code sections, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five business days from today, which will be the close of business on 9/3/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

The center shall establish and implement procedures for ensuring that all areas of the premises accessible to children are free of obvious injury hazards.
1 - Multiple appliances were in use and plugged in with dangling cords within reach of children creating a toppling and or tripping hazard. There was a space heater in use the infant room with a dangling electrical cord within reach of children in care.
2 -There were 3 fans plugged in within reach of children that are used during nap time posing an injury hazard.
Plan of Correction: Free of obvious injury hazards
1. Classrooms have taken fans out of rooms, and classrooms in need of fans have been provided with bladeless fans, deemed safe for classroom use.
2. The space heater in the crib room was immediately removed during the inspection to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
3. All dangling electrical cords have been secured and organized to eliminate any injury risks.
4. Electrical items that could be relocated have been moved away from sink areas. Any remaining necessary items have been properly plugged into GFCI outlets to ensure compliance with safety standards.
