Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring was conducted on April 18, 2023. There were 35 children present upon arrival with 10 staff members. Additional administrative staff were present. Children were observed eating morning snack and preparing for morning activiites. There were 5 staff records and 5 children records reviewed . Licensing Inspector reviewed indoor areas, supervision, activities, equipment, emergency evacuation and sheltering-in-place drill documentation, emergency procedures and required posting.

Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure there is always be at least one staff member on duty who has obtained within the last three years instruction in performing the daily health observation of children.

Evidence:
During the inspection their was not documentation that a person that was certified in daily health observation is present during operating hours.
