An initial inspection was conducted today between the hours of 9:30am-11:30am. No children are currently in care and two staff members were on site. Space calculations for eight classrooms and the playground was conducted. The classrooms were set up with adequate programming equipment, materials, and space to store each child's belongings. The playground was observed having adequate resilient surfacing and equipment was determined age appropriate for the requested age range. Cribs were observed on site for infants. Two staff files were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please contact me if you have any questions at Karen.dickens@doe.virginia.gov.
