Inspector Notes

A complaint was received regarding staff to child ratios. An inspection was conducted today between the hours of 7:00am and 8:45am. Electronic attendance records and staff schedules were reviewed, class observations were conducted and discussions with staff were conducted. The preponderance of evidence collected deemed the complaint valid. Based on record review and interviews, the center did not always ensure staff to child ratios were always maintained.
Evidence
In the mornings for the first hour of operation, the center did not always ensure that the staff to child ratios were in compliance.
Plan of Correction: Management will begin coming in earlier to ensure the classrooms are always in ratio. We are in the process of hiring additional staff.
