Inspector Notes

An in person renewal study was conducted today. All rooms were in ratio during the inspection.
3 staff and 2 child records were reviewed. See Violation Notice for non-compliances.

Liability insurance, injury reports, emergency evacuation drills, emergency supplies, first aid supplies, menu, crib spacing and labeled/dated bottles were all in compliance.

Children were observed playing with a variety of age appropriate toys, games and equipment, preparing for rest time and while washing hands.

Based on a review of records, one staff record does not contain documentation of completion of the required orientation course within 90 days of employment.
Evidence:
1 of 3 staff records reviewed did not contain documentation of the Preservice 1- hour course within 90 days of employment. The course certificate is dated 11/14/2022. (Staff A: Date of Hire: 7/7/22).
Plan of Correction: Moving forward, new hire records will be reviewed every 30 days to ensure they are complete. Time will be allowed during work to complete the course if necessary.
If the course is not completed, the staff will not return to work until it is finished.

Based on a review of records, one child record does not contain documentation of all required component.
Evidence:
1 of 2 child records reviewed did not contain documentation of a second emergency contact's name, address, phone number. (Child 1)
Plan of Correction: The parent was contacted during the inspection. and asked to provide the information.
