Inspector Notes
An announced initial inspection was conducted on 5/16/22 from 12:10pm to 1:30pm with the provider and one assistant. The provider will operate Monday thru Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The provider will care for up to 12 children. There were three children in care, ranging in age from 14-months to two-years-old, for a total of eight points. Children were observed napping. Four child records, the provider record, one assistant record, and one household member record were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. Medications will not administered at this time and the provider is aware that she must obtain certification in Medication Administration Training in order to do so. The home is equipped with a variety of age appropriate materials. Meals are provided by the provider and the posted weekly menu was observed. Policies and procedures were reviewed. The attendance was reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detector were observed. Emergency numbers, evacuation maps/procedures and daily schedules were posted. A conditional (6 month) license will be recommended. An unannounced follow up inspection will be conducted within 60 days to determine compliance with standards not observed at the initial inspection.
