Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted today between 9:00am and 10:30am. There were 23 children present, with 5 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Based on observation, all electrical outlets did not have protective covers.
Evidence
Two electrical outlets in the infant room did not have protective covers.
Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection. Staff will check the outlets every morning to make sure they all have covers.
Standard 8VAC20-780-90-A
Based on review of children's records, the center did not obtain a written agreement between the parent and the center.
Evidence
A written agreement between the parent and the center was not obtained for child #1 by the first day of attendance, 5/1/2023.
Plan of Correction: I will get the missing agreement from the parent.
