Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 01/31/2023 and concluded on 01/31/2023. There were 37 children present, ranging in ages from 5 months to 5 years, with 13 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records, 3 medication authorizations and 13 staff/board member records were reviewed/updated. Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on observation and interview, the center did not ensure that each infant bottle was dated.

Evidence:
1. There were two prepared bottles in the refrigerator observed not labeled with a date.
2. There were 5 infants in care.
Plan of Correction: I will make sure that the bottles are dated and that the staff know to make sure they are dated from this day forward.
