Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitor Inspection was conducted on August 29, 2023. There were 22 children, ages 2-4 years old, 6 staff and 2 administrative staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition.
Licensing Inspector review 5 children's records and 5 staff records. The children were observed during circle time, center time and rest.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
5EVIDENCE:
Licensing Inspector observed in the pre-school classroom on the lower level, an unlocked exit door that does not properly close/latch accessible to the children in care. The exit door leads to an attic storage area containing hazardous equipment and materials.
EVIDENCE:
The Licensing Inspector observed in the lower level pre-school classroom, children were not provided a top and bottom cover during the designated rest period.
EVIDENCE:
Licensing Inspector observed uncovered pillows in the preschool classroom during the designated rest period.
EVIDENCE:
Staff did not wash their hands nor the hands of a 2 year old after diapering
EVIDENCE:
Licensing Inspector observed multiple food containers that were not labeled with the child's name and date.
