An unannounced Subsidy Inspection was conducted on March 20, 2024. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the Vendor failed to ensure all staff who work directly with children complete the Virginia Preservice Training for child Care Staff within the first 90 days of employment.
