During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 1/15/2025, as a part of the licensure period,The on-site inspection began at 10:50 am and ended at 12:10 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 12 children present and 3 caregivers. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the program, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-730-D
Medications shall be kept in a locked place that prevents access by children.

There were two unlocked medications on top of the refrigerator in the kitchen.
Plan of Correction: I moved from the top of the refrigerator to a locked cabinet. The gates are usually locked.
Standard 8VAC20-800-890
When food is brought from home it shall be labeled in a way to identify the child.

2 bottles from home were not labeled with child's name and date.
Plan of Correction: I will label.
