Inspector Notes

An announced initial inspection was conducted on 08/05/2022 from 9:00 A.M..-10:30 P.M. The facility that will be used for emergency situations was toured and classrooms were measured for capacity. Some items observed/reviewed during the inspection included: emergency evacuation maps and procedures, parent arrival and departure procedures, required posted information, first aid kit, non-medical emergency supplies,one agent's background checks, and vehicles that will be used to transport children.

A recommendation will be made for an initial six month conditional Child Day Center license with a capacity of 30 children serving children ages three through six years of age.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of first aid kits, the facility failed to ensure that all required first aid supplies were available.

Evidence:
1. The first kit located in Vehicle #1 did not contain two triangular bandages.
2. Administration verified that the first aid kit did not contain two triangular bandages.
Plan of Correction: Triangular bandages will be purchased and added to the first aid kits.
