Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 3/7/24 and concluded on 3/7/24. There were 24 children present with 7 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:30am and concluded at 12pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Review of the sinks in the classrooms found that the facility failed to ensure that water temperatures did not exceed 120 degrees.

Evidence:
In the preschool classroom the sink near the diapering area read 148.5 degrees. Water temperatures may not exceed 120 degrees.
Plan of Correction: Maintenance will immediately adjust the hot water temperature gauge to ensure that the temperature doesn't exceed 120 degrees.
