8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS
Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on July 26, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. 15 children were present, ranging in ages from two years to nine years with four staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with an applicable standard or law, and a violation is documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 8/12/24. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website

1Evidence:
1) Staff #1?s date of employment was 5/2/22. The most recent documentation of completion of the department?s health and safety update course in the record of Staff #2 was dated 6/10/23.
2) Staff #4?s date of employment was 8/12/19. The most recent documentation of completion of the department?s health and safety update course in the record of Staff #4 was dated 4/07/22.
3) The Program Director acknowledged that Staff #1 and Staff #4 did not take the class annually as required.
