An announced record review was conducted virtually on 01/23/2023. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, programs, and background checks. A total of 5 children?s records and 5 Agent/ Officer records were reviewed. The virtual inspection began at approximately 1:00 pm and ended approximately 3:00 pm.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation noticed issued to the provider.

Based on record review, failed to obtain a criminal record check prior to hire and child abuse and neglect search by the end of 30th day of employment from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years.
Evidence: The record for Staff 1 contained documentation that Staff 1 has resided outside the state of Virginia within the preceding 5 years. The documented hire date for Staff 1 was 06/1/2022. The out of state criminal history was dated 06/24/2022 and the child abuse and neglect registry check was dated 11/11/2022.
