Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on October 17, 2022 between the hours of 9:00am and 11:20am. There were 22 children present, with 5 staff supervising. Children were observed working on various puzzles, participating in story time, eating snack, outside activities, and playing with other age-appropriate materials. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, staff and child records, evacuation drills, first aid supplies, special care and emergencies. Information gathered during the inspection determine non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, potentially poisonous materials were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: The Violet class (16 - 36 months) has an unlocked cabinet under the sink with cleaning products inside.
Plan of Correction: I will move the products now and order a new lock replacement. Violation corrected during the inspection.
