Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was completed from 10:25-12:30. There were 28 children present with 9 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and interview, a staff person did not meet the qualifications to be a lead teacher.
Evidence:
1. Staff # was missing documentation to be a lead teacher.
Plan of Correction: The staff person will complete the required training and it will be put in the file.

Based on record review, the center did not complete all required drills.
Evidence:
1. A 06/2023 drill was not documented.
Plan of Correction: Evacuation drills will be completed and documented monthly.

Based on record review, the center did not have all the required information in the file.
Evidence:
1. Child #1 and #2 needed addresses for emergency contacts added.
