Inspector Notes
An unannounced mandated inspection was completed from 9:30am until 11:50 by two inspectors.
There were 43 children in care and 13 staff present. Five children?s records and five staff records were reviewed. Children were observed washing hands, eating, resting, and playing.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The playground equipment is currently not being used until the mulch can be spread.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation (s) were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. An exit meting was held with the director.

Violations
8Evidence:
1. The acknowledgement form was posted from the last inspection but not the inspection documents.
Evidence:
1. In the classroom near the back door there was a piece of rubber floor trim that had detached from the wall and was laying in the floor.
Evidence:
1. Two classrooms did not have schedules posted and the director verified this.
Evidence:
1. A classroom had children's belongings stored in the hallway near the back entrance.
Evidence:
1. The diapering pad in the hallway had two tears in it.
Evidence:
1. In the office in a unlocked upper cabinet there was a bottle of Robitussin and children's Tylenol. The office door was not locked.
Evidence:
1. Off the hallway there was a diapering table that had a diaper cream and an ointment that were stored on the bottom shelf of the diaper table.
Evidence:
1. The months of Aug., Sept., Nov. Dec, and Jan. were not completed. 2. The director verified that the drills had not been completed.
