Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:20am until 1:00pm in conjunction with a complaint investigation.
Classrooms were observed, and a review of 8 staff records, 4 children's medications, 7 children?s records, emergency drills, and supplies was completed. During the inspection there were 99 children under the supervision on 21 staff members. Children were observed eating lunch consisting of tortilla, beans corn, oranges and milk. Diaper changing procedures were also observed.

Staff 2? s record lists residing in Washington, California, and North Carolina within the preceding five years. There was no documentation of a request or results of a central registry check for each state, or a criminal record check or results from Washington and California.

Evidence:
A staff member in the infant room was observed to change a child?s diaper, then remove soiled gloves to open a cabinet, spray the diapering surface and record information on the classroom tablet. The staff washed their hands after these tasks were complete.
