Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was completed on 03/17/2026, as a part of the licensure period.
The on-site inspection began at 1:00pm and ended at 1:45pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 4 children present totaling 9 points with 1 caregiver. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 Caregiver/household staff records. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements. Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-320-A
Small electrical appliances shall be unplugged unless being used by the caregiver. There was a candle warmer lamp plugged into the electrical outlet in the kitchen.
Plan of Correction: The caregiver unplugged and removed the candle warmer lamp from the kitchen.
Standard 8VAC20-800-510-C
Occupied cribs, cots, rest mats, and beds shall be at least 12 inches from each other. A child was observed laying on a cot that did not have at least 12 inches of space between the cot and a crib.
Plan of Correction: The crib was moved during the inspection, and the caregiver will ensure all cots and cribs have at least 12 inches of space between each other.
